Established in 1995, Boulder Ventures Ltd. (‘BV’) makes equity investments in serial entrepreneurs who lead early stage life science and information technology companies in Colorado and the Mid-Atlantic region. BV manages more than $300 million in five venture capital partnerships.

The General Partners of BV are Kyle Lefkoff and Peter Roshko, who staff the Boulder, CO office; and Andy Jones and Jonathan Perl, who staff the Chevy Chase, MD office.
In his twenty-four year career as a venture capitalist, Kyle Lefkoff, a Founder of BV, has invested in 59 Colorado companies, resulting in twelve IPOs and fifteen trade sales. Mr. Lefkoff’s representative life science investments include Hauser Chemical Research (Nasdaq: HAUS), NeXstar Pharmaceuticals (sold to Gilead Sciences), Array BioPharma (NASDAQ: ARRY), Dharmacon (sold to Fisher Scientific), Genomica (sold to Exelixis), ARCA Biopharma (NASDAQ: ABIO), and Miragen Therapeutics.
Representative information technology investments include McData (sold to EMC), Atlantes Corporation (sold to Metromail), Compatible Systems Corporation (sold to Cisco Systems), Wall Street on Demand (sold to Goldman Sachs), and Lefthand Networks (sold to HP).
Representative natural foods retailing investments include Horizon Organic Dairy (sold to Dean Foods), Alfalfa’s Markets (sold to Wild Oats), and Fresh & Wild PLC (sold to Whole Foods).
Mr. Lefkoff is the Chairman of the Board of Array BioPharma, and a Director of Centerstone Technologies, Miragen Therapeutics and Trust Company of America.
Prior to becoming a General Partner of BV in 1998, Mr. Roshko spent ten years as a General Partner of Mohr, Davidow Ventures, one of Silicon Valley’s premier early-stage technology funds. Mr. Roshko has expertise in enterprise applications, Internet-based business services, and data mining and analysis.
Representative investments include Vantive (Nasdaq: VNTV) (sold to PeopleSoft), Prism Solutions (Nasdaq: PRZM), Tigon Corporation (sold to Ameritech), Albion Instruments (sold to British Oxygen).
Mr. Roshko is a Director of DatAvail Corporation, Lijit Networks, Rally Software, ProStor Systems, Trust Company of America, and Xifin, Inc.
